Where we've disappeared to...

So life seems to like us, a lot, so we're always spending our time dealing with it...

Fall semester was pretty busy, or so we thought... busy has a whole new meaning now.

We spent the holidays (about two weeks) in Illinois with the Ruggieri side. It was a lot of fun, maybe too much fun since we got back two days after the semester started and haven't caught up yet.

America started her internship a few weeks ago, and is taking a full load of classes as well, her last semester! Woohoo! She's interning at the ELC (English Language Center) and has a group of a bunch of Young Adults with basically zero English background, she likes it a lot and gets to teach them several times a week. She's also been assigned to tutor a guy from the Congo and a lady from Peru, so I'm excited to practice my French with him, and reminisce with her about my homeland.

Did I mention she's also working still at Pizza Pie Cafe, which she...loves, yeah...that's it.

So she's up to her neck in all that stuff. Not to mention taking care of me which might as well be time and a half.

I'm busy busy busy too. I've got a full load of classes, though less than the usual, I'm only taking four, but one of them is Chemistry, I HATE CHEMISTRY. Which may be one of the reasons I'm four assignments behind already, just maybe. Also I'm taking an EMT course, so hopefully first week or so of April I'll be certified as an Emergency Medical Technician and can get a part time job doing that. I'm really excited about that possibility, though the course is 6pm to 10pm Mondays and Wednesdays, after being in class all day, and 8 hours once a month on Saturdays. A little overwhelming. I'm still working on campus for a website that I manage, as well as TA-ing the Infectious Disease class with Dr. Cole, my favoritest job and class ever so far!

Actually, my ALMOST favoritest job, since I just got an awesome one for this summer. I got hired as a Country Director for HELP International, a Provo based NGO doing development work around the world. So America and I will be living in El Salvador for four month this summer, something I'm really excited and looking forward to. We have a lot on our plate for sure, so hopefully I'll be able to blog a little more as I get more on top of things.

Our holidays were great, we had a wonderful first holiday season together, spent a lot of time with friends and family, and then got to travel and spend time with family. We were in Las Vegas last weekend with America's parents too, we had so much fun. Anyway, school looms over us, work looms over us, internships loom over us, etc... ... ...looms over us.
